Readathon - final thoughts

Final thoughts from the read-a-thon: fun, managed lots of different stories, enjoyed all of them in each their own way, but am taking the most from Nan Shepherd's The Living Mountain. Only one problem - I want to move back to the Highlands!

I hope everyone else enjoyed their read-a-thon as much as I did.

Readathon update - book 6

This was fun, and I think it will be the last book I read this read-a-thon. The novella plan worked - not so many pages read, perhaps, but plenty of different stories. :-)

Readathon update - book 5

Really enjoyed this - love it when seemingly fantastical words are rooted in tradition, and suddenly familiar following a tiny bit of research, e.g. dictionary.

Definitely recommend this novella.

And, after a snooze/sleep, finishing off this read-a-thon with Guardians of the Galaxy!

Readathon update - book 4

The novella plan is definitely working! Just wondering what to start reading next before the kindle needs recharging.

Readathon update - book 3

My novella plan seems to be working - I am getting through some books. Binti was very interesting and enjoyable. I'm trying to figure out the age of the intended audience. If it is a middle-grade/teen book then it fits.

Readathon update - book 2

A beautiful read, and three times the size of the first book I read this readathon! ;-)

Readathon update - book 1

One tiny book finished - just 34 pages! Short, but enjoyable.
